Epitaphs — Book Of The Dead — 2005
The evocation of darkness is a necessary counterpoint to the dull gray light we have all been getting shed [shat?] upon us from all sides. The book of the dead is actually a book of the living that gives us a toehold for just a small measure of sanity.
In my view sanity would be demonstrated By someone who came into the presence of representatives of a true hellish gloom (of which Bush Cheney and Rummy are well-known exemplars--but o there are lots more, including the very obscure) who did this: just point at this one with their finger and hiss. language gets us nowhere--we need powerful ancient gestures...

Tia Gia, I just wanted to stop by and say a few things (seeing as you never answer your phone these days). First: I would like to thank you for reading and reviewing my book with such short notice.
Second: I would like to thank you for writing my forward, i cried a bit when i read it.
Third: i would like to express the unconditional love and devotion i have for you. You are probably the kindest and most loving individual i have ever met (still trying the forgivness advice you gave me btw). i always feel terrible because i never have time to call as much as i desire to with the publishing and all the other shit in my life at the moment. but know this...you are always in my heart, my soul and even in my blood. i love you dear Sister and hope to speak to and see you soon.

I could never possess the words to express how I feel about The Dark Goddess. She feeds my soul, nourishes my mind, challenges my intellect, and gives me something truly wonderful. Where others fear to tread, I go with wide eyed wonder, at the beautiful gift bestowed by tHE dark Goddess From here on out, let others exist in their own atmosphere - I have reserved the Stratosphere for you and I, my mistress.

Just wanted to let you know that you are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! I love the pics, you just look so purdy... (is a bit jealous lol)
I have been thinking of you and the kind words you have written. I know it's been sometime since we've posted and you must think me a quirk. I do apologize and hope that your feelings are not badly damaged. My skies are like coal the moment before they burst into flame. Not simmering red or blackened as animals long dead on the forest floor, but the uninpenatrable gray of the sky that keeps it's inner workings secret from all mankind. I thrash the murky mist at the onset of dusk in hopes that it will part and my soul will be reawakened by a glimse of that pocked china moon, but it opens only a larger apeture of wet cold fog to descend upon my moaning soul. Almost as if I hear that low growl of a bellow that rumbles from one of satans chained guards. Moaning to the slow heated throb of the pain in their shackles that will never be freed from their limbs.
I hope to hear of your happy thoughts and daily tribulations and again be in the countenance of your loving disposition. If you hunger, I will feed you. If you are weary, I will guard over you whilst you rest. If you are hounded by demons, I will pluck out his jugular and hold it before his dimming eyes. And if you cry my sweet Theresa, I will kiss away those tears and wisper the brightness of days to come in your ear. Wake now and smile that I may see my reflection in your bright eyes and feel the beating of my heart as I hold your hand.
Yours for Only a Glance

My Dark Sister it has been far too long since Our paths have crossed. My girl and I miss your vicious ways and honored Spirit. Do not forget old ghosts from the past for we are still yet haunted by memories of our dear friend. Until we meet again... carpe noctum.

How to describe this? The Dark Looking Glass is as phenomenal as the Dark Mistress herself. Smart, bitingly witty, stylish, and wonderful. "I really like it..."

Beyond sunset, the shining grows and glows in your aura of darkness coined in your smile, sweet peach of the den. your countenance bold yet seething, draws me in, spinning yet calm as if watching my own descent, as one would in a opium dream, the object, yet removed viewing through the glass. your realm, countess, is enthralling me as chains grow from my limbs and fly directed at your laughing whim. as you twirl in the light of your blazing hearth, the smile on your lips and the light of your flashing eyes are all my heart needs to grow onward. a heart torn and chained by words of your command and the wave of your fingers. may your toes never touch dirt nor your hands engulf labor, as you dance away the phase of the moon and howl unto your pack the mournful cry of the forgotten. for when the bright orb ascends on us again, your shutters are closed and your dreading is upon you in the depths of dreams and contortions.

Note from the Dark Goddess:
"Render on to me your sacrifice
Of precious metals, gems, perfumes, and flesh
Honey sweet your words offered and on my alter
Lay your laments and desires, making sure the meat is fresh"

Darkest Greetings, dear Theresa, Congratulations on your guest book. I wanted to be one of the first, for this new year, to scratch a few hyroglyphs on your your slate. Your website is even better and more interesting than it was although even then, was amongst the best I'd ever seen. Keep it up, you're close to perfection, but i'm sure you already know that. I wish you the very best for this bright new year of 2005 and will be in touch shortly for some of those long chats we used to have. Again, many congratulations. Lot's love and Darkest blessings ... grondwitch!
